KL

While I was basically only in Kuala Lumpur for transit purposes, I did have a day to explore a small part of the city.

The three major stops I made were Chinatown, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Aviary, one of the largest in Asia, the world, I don't remember… I also went to see the famous Patronas Twin Towers.

KL is known for its food, but unfortunately I did not get to eat as much as I would have liked. I did have fun confusing (and being confused) by all of the Malaysian shop keepers in Chinatown. I was looking for character writing paper and I would go into the shops of Chinatown and ask about it in Chinese… but almost none of the shopkeepers were able to speak any Chinese. I did final find what I was looking for, but it was a struggle.
